Though a singer songwriter/ composer, Pat is also an expert keyboard player and has always been very innovative. He decided that he wanted to be on the cutting edge of sound design. By going back to the basics he devised a new way to use the remote based on "trade secrets," and built a unique method of playing keyboard to "sound guitar" that is his own. |
| Pat's Metalboard as he calls it, allows him to perform like an adept guitar player by mimicing the acrobatic leads and riffs that they use. As music changes Pat continues to customize his Metalboard to keep up with the changing sound of guitar and its use in music. He has engineered Metalboard a level unmatched in the industry. Pat has taken keyboard to a new level through the use of his Metalboard. He shredded the straight jacket of note to note performance and expounding upon dynamics previously associated only with lead and rhythm guitar. And because Pat is a keyboard player his performance using his Metalboard enables him to exceed the physical boundaries set by the nature of guitar as an instrument. |
